Amelia Earhart

An Afternoon of History!

On March 6, 2010 OCHS was pleased to welcome Michele Cervonto to our Birdsall Room to speak about the life of Amelia Earhart. Michele is an Amelia Earhart Historian and a moderator of the Amelia Earhart Society. She is one of only 70 people in the world qualified to speak on about Amelia.

Michele's extensive knowledge and her passion for her topic were evident to the capacity audience of members and friends. Her collection of books and artifacts stirred interest among adults and younger audience members as well. All agreed that it was a fascinating afternoon!
