Antiques & Collectibles Faire '09
Our 23rd Faire!
On Saturday, September 5, 2009 Ocean County Historical Society presented our twenty third Old Time Antiques & Collectibles Faire. Hundreds of visitors took advantage of the beautiful weather and visited this popular event, held at the Ocean County Parking Facility, and the O.C.H.S. Museum on Hadley Ave. in Toms River.
In addition to the many antiques and collectibles vendors, the Faire had displays of beautiful vintage automobiles, antique engines, craft demonstrations, music, and of course, food. There were new books for sale, used books for sale, and even an appraiser who placed a value on items that guests might want to sell in the future.
This fantastic event, one of our greatest fund raisers, was planned and presented by OCHS volunteer Betsy Dudas. It was made possible with the help and cooperation of the Ocean County Board of Freeholders, the Ocean County Buildings & Grounds Deparetment, and, as always, the many OCHS member volunteers who make all of our events a success!
